Skin Rejuvenation
Harness your body's own healing power to regenerate skin and reverse aging naturally. PRF and PRP use concentrated growth factors from your blood to stimulate collagen production and improve skin quality.
What Are PRF & PRP?
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) are revolutionary regenerative treatments that harness your body's own healing power to rejuvenate skin and promote tissue repair. Both treatments use your own blood, processed to concentrate platelets - the cells responsible for healing and tissue regeneration. These concentrated platelets are then reinjected into targeted areas to trigger natural healing, collagen production, and cellular renewal.
PRF is the next-generation advancement over PRP. PRF contains higher concentration of growth factors, white blood cells, and stem cells, and releases healing components slowly over 7-10 days (versus hours with PRP) for longer-lasting tissue regeneration. PRF requires no additives or anticoagulants, making it completely natural. Both treatments are incredibly versatile: facial rejuvenation, under-eye treatment, acne scar improvement, and post-procedure healing enhancement.
At Divinity Med Spa, we've served Spring Hill since 2015 as Hernando County's most trusted medical spa. Our providers are extensively trained in PRF and PRP protocols and understand precise techniques required for optimal results. We offer PRF Under Eye package: $900 for 2 treatments - one of our most popular regenerative treatments.
Why Choose PRF/PRP?
100% Natural & Safe
Uses your own blood with no synthetic additives or chemicals. Completely biocompatible with zero risk of allergic reaction or rejection.
True Regenerative Medicine
Doesn't just mask aging - actually regenerates tissue, stimulates collagen, and promotes healing at the cellular level for lasting improvement.
Multiple Applications
Treats facial aging, under-eye hollows and dark circles, acne scars, surgical healing, and more. One powerful treatment with many uses.
Progressive, Long-Lasting Results
Improvement develops over weeks and months as new collagen forms and tissue regenerates. Results last 12-18+ months with proper treatment series.
PRF & PRP Treatment Applications
Regenerate skin from within, heal scars, and reveal naturally radiant results.
PRF is particularly effective for treating dark circles, hollowing, fine lines, and crepey skin under eyes.
The growth factors thicken skin, improve circulation, and reduce discoloration. PRF is superior to PRP for delicate under-eye area due to higher concentration of healing factors and slower release. Typically requires 2-3 treatments for dramatic improvement.
PRF/PRP injected into face or combined with microneedling to improve fine lines, wrinkles, skin texture, tone, and overall radiance.
The growth factors stimulate massive collagen and elastin production, creating plumper, smoother, more youthful skin. Often called the "Vampire Facial" when combined with microneedling. Requires 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.
PRF/PRP combined with microneedling breaks down scar tissue while delivering concentrated growth factors to stimulate new, healthy collagen formation.
Dramatically improves depressed acne scars, surgical scars, and uneven texture. Progressive improvement over 3-6 months. Typically requires 3-4 treatments for significant results.
PRF/PRP amplifies results when combined with other treatments: microneedling (most popular combination), Morpheus8 RF microneedling, laser resurfacing, PDO threads, post-surgical healing, and more. The growth factors accelerate healing and enhance collagen production from other procedures. Many patients add PRF to maximize their treatment investments.
PRF vs. PRP: What's the Difference?
Both treatments use your blood, but PRF is the superior next generation:
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
PRP has been used for over a decade in aesthetic and medical applications. Blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge at high speed with anticoagulants to separate plasma (liquid) from red blood cells.
The platelet-rich plasma layer is extracted and reinjected. PRP releases growth factors quickly over 1-4 hours, providing an initial burst of healing signals.
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin)
PRF is the newer, more advanced version. Blood is spun at lower speed without anticoagulants, creating a natural fibrin matrix that traps platelets, white blood cells, stem cells, and growth factors.
This fibrin scaffold releases healing factors slowly over 7-10 days rather than hours, providing sustained regeneration. PRF contains 10x more growth factors than PRP and includes beneficial white blood cells and stem cells that PRP lacks.
Why PRF is Superior:
Higher Concentration:
PRF contains significantly more platelets, growth factors, white blood cells, and stem cells than PRP. More healing components = better results.
Sustained Release:
PRP releases growth factors quickly (hours), while PRF releases slowly over days to weeks. This sustained release creates longer-lasting tissue regeneration and collagen production.
No Additives:
PRF requires no anticoagulants or additives - it's completely natural. PRP requires anticoagulants that some believe may interfere with optimal healing.
Better Tissue Integration:
The fibrin scaffold in PRF provides structural support and better tissue integration. PRF stays in place longer and works more effectively than liquid PRP.
Improved Results:
Clinical studies show PRF produces superior results for skin rejuvenation and tissue healing compared to PRP.
When to Use Each:
PRF: Facial rejuvenation, under-eyes, general anti-aging (superior choice for most applications)
PRP: Some providers still prefer PRP for certain applications; both are effective
At Divinity: We primarily use PRF due to its superior results, but can customize based on your specific needs

ALL THE ANSWERS
Frequently Asked Questions
Does PRF/PRP hurt?
Blood draw is like routine lab work (quick pinprick). Injections cause mild discomfort similar to filler injections.
With numbing cream, most find it tolerable.
Is PRF better than PRP?
Generally yes. PRF contains higher concentration of growth factors, releases them more slowly (longer-lasting effects), and is completely natural (no additives).
Most providers transitioning to PRF for superior results.
How long do PRF/PRP results last?
Results last 12-18 months typically.
Since PRF/PRP stimulates your own collagen, results are long-lasting but not permanent.
Maintenance treatments every 6-12 months extend results indefinitely.
Is PRF/PRP safe?
Very safe. Uses your own blood so no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. Complications rare (infection, bruising). Choose experienced providers for best safety and results.
When will I see results?
Early improvement at 4-6 weeks, noticeable results at 2-3 months, maximum results at 3-6 months.
This is regenerative medicine - takes time to build new collagen and tissue.
How many treatments do I need?
Most concerns require 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.
Under eyes: 2-3 treatments (package of 2 available for $900).
Will I be bruised after PRF/PRP?
Bruising is possible but typically minimal. More common with facial injections than microneedling application.
Bruising resolves within 7-10 days. Arnica supplements help minimize bruising.
Can I combine PRF/PRP with other treatments?
Yes! PRF/PRP enhances many treatments: Botox (same day), fillers (same day or separate), microneedling (most popular combination), Morpheus8, and lasers.
PRF accelerates healing and enhances collagen production.
